We have a theme at Case that’s states “If you give, you get”. As the next Remodeling Show at the end of this month approaches the Senior People at Case are busy preparing their presentations. At Case there has always been a passion for education, training and knowledge sharing. Last year we launched the Case Institute of Remodeling to further our commitment to education and training. The Institute now has over 5,000 members and is sponsored by many of the leading manufacturers in our industry. Case feels strongly about giving back to the industry that has helped make it successful and this year will be no exception.
We have all had to come to grips with an economy that has forced us out of our comfort zones and mandated that we change how we are doing things. At Case, it has been no different. Like many remodelers we have lead projections that have to be met. Relying on a lot of “word of mouth” leads is no longer sufficient. Jobs sizes have been decreasing and sales are harder to close, so close rates must go up in response. We are fortunate, however, that we have departments of subject matter experts at Case, such as marketing, as well as systems, software and experienced staff which allow us to predict some things and to make adjustments proactively. This does not necessarily remove the pain, but it does allow us to avoid or control some of it.
At this year’s show we will be sharing quite a bit about our own experiences, discoveries and solutions in our talks and how we use our resources, including our network of strategic alliances to control what we can and worry less about what we can’t. We will be presenting on topics such as Writing and living by an easy business plan, creating an effective marketing plan and “selling down” which is a technique we use extensively at Case. We will also be presenting on other topics of the everyday business, such as estimating and making your clients raving fans of your business. You can access a schedule of all talks at the event here

We invite you to come to our talks if you are going to the event this year and if not to join our new Linked-In group
http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=2244602&trk=hb_side_g to stay in touch and share ideas as we continue to move through what we believe will be continued tricky waters. None of us is as strong as all of us.
